Pass UTM parameters to Salesfsorce

How to Pass UTM Parameters to Salesforce

If you use Salesforce (or another CRM) to track your website leads, by default you won’t have all the detailed information about their conversion path. Tracking form fills is a start, but to truly understand where your leads are coming from, you need to connect Salesforce to your Google Analytics account and pass UTM parameters to Salesforce.

Digioh enables you to sync your Google Analytics data with Salesforce (both Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud). Unlike other connectors, the Digioh integration allows you to pass various forms of Google Analytics data, including UTM parameters, custom segments,  eCommerce data, and Goal Conversions.

How to create a custom Marketing Cloud Preference Center

How to create a custom email preference center for Salesforce Marketing Cloud

While convenient, the default Salesforce Marketing Cloud Preference center is missing several advanced features. For example, out of the box you can’t:

  • Add custom branding
  • Use a custom domain
  • Trigger a survey to learn why someone unsubscribed
  • Give subscribers a one-click unsubscribe option
  • Add unlimited custom fields
  • Dynamically display personalized content for each subscriber (e.g. suggest related lists)

Worse, making these customizations can take weeks (or months) of development work.

How to set up a Marketing Cloud triggered send with Digioh

Learn more about Digioh’s triggered sends solution

What are some of the benefits of triggered sends?

  • Triggered sends automate a manual process (and save time): instead of daily batch uploads to your list, instantly trigger an email when someone takes an action (e.g. submits their contact details to a form).
  • They also earn higher open rates. Because they’re prompted by an action taken by the individual user, users receive these emails at a moment when the email content is most relevant. This makes recipients more likely to open these emails. For instance, the first email after someone signs up typically has the highest open rate, so removing delays can help maximize your open rate.

There’s one main drawback to triggered sends: If you’re not comfortable setting up an API call, setting up a triggered send can be challenging and time-consuming.
